"ETA educational seminars are comprehensive, effective, and experienced" Michael Terpak, Deputy Chief, Jersey City, NJ Fire Department

"I can not say enough about the professionalism that Emergency Training Associates (ETA) displays. I
would not have finished as well as I did if it were not for them. They have a different approach to test
taking than other groups.
While Study Group was very helpful and also professional, ETA took their training in another direction. If
you're going to them to learn firefighting and to eliminate reading the books suggested by the
department of personnel, then do not waste your time.
If you are looking for the edge on your competition, I recommend ETA. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE TEST
TAKING, THEY ARE FOR YOU. If you have trouble public speaking, ETA is what you are looking for.
I would like to thank the partners of ETA, Battalion Chief Riker from the Newark Fire Department, Battalion
Chief Bruce VanderVoort from the Paterson Fire Department, and Dr. Peter Tom. ETA, Thank you".

"I have completed 12 years of service with the City of Paterson, NJ Fire Department. Just recently I was
honored to have been promoted to the rank of Captain in which I owe a debt of gratitude to Emergency
Training Associates.
The process of obtaining rank in the Professional Fire Service is a grueling and competitive task to
accomplish; therefore, you need proper guidance.
That's where ETA steps in. My experience with this organization was pleasant and reassuring. They put
forth a plan and gave me the tools to execute and reach my objective. Thank you ETA and for the serious
firefighters aiming for this goal, put forth your energy in reading and studying and entrust in ETA to
deliver their part. Good Luck".

“ Leaders are made, they are not born, they are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us
must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.” Vince Lombardi
“The Goal” is being promoted, it takes hard work, it takes the ability to breakthrough any excuses that
hold you back from achieving your goal.
I would like to thank the partners at Emergency Training Associates that helped me achieve my goals.
Chief Riker and Chief VanderVoort kept me focused on the fire service material and Dr. Peter Tom helped
me interpret and answer the questions correctly.
Thank you, ETA, for preparing me for the next step in my journey.
